Christmas is the time of year when we most keenly feel separation from loved ones who are no longer with us or who are separated geographically or through complex relationships.
At Citywide we set aside the Sunday before Christmas for a simple little ceremony where we hang decorations as a symbol of the gift God has given us through those people who we can’t share Christmas with, but whom we will never forget. We call this “the memory tree”.
Join us this Sunday (December 19) for the memory tree at both Lenah Valley and Mornington campuses during our 10 a.m. service.
