Located only 10 minutes from the Hobart CBD and 10 minutes to the airport, our Mornington venue is convenient for a wide variety of events. It has free parking, with 65 marked spaces (and overflow out the back), and easy level access.
With the large Auditorium, commercial kitchen, and rooms of various sizes, we can cater for events from 10 to 400 people. The building has a commercial kitchen and can be hired as a whole building or on a room-by-room basis.

Meehan Auditorium Hire – $200 per hour*, 410 sqm, 400 people standing

Our Meehan Auditorium (named after the nearby Meehan Ranges) is the largest room at Citywide, comfortably seating 300 people lecture style, or 200 seated around tables. It is equipped with advanced sound and lighting and a large stage. With mirrored projectors either side of the stage, the Meehan Auditorium is the perfect place to hold your presentation.
The Auditorium is a large open space (21.2m x 21.1m) accessed through two sets of double doors with all-access ramps. The Meehan Auditorium has internal access to toilets, including an accessible toilet and infant change table.

If you need it, consider adding the Rosny Room to your hire. Situated adjacent to the Meehan Auditorium with direct access, the Rosny Room is the perfect Green Room for your performance.
Another useful addition to your hire is the Commercial Kitchen. With its close proximity to the Meehan Auditorium, it makes for a great preparing space for self-catering, and also a perfect area for those who choose to hire a catering company.

Commercial Kitchen – $80 per hour*

The commercial kitchen is set up to host many types of meals, with crockery and cutlery for 200 people. It boasts an industrial dishwasher, a gas stove, fridges and plenty of bench space.

Café Space – $80 per hour*, 140 sqm, 140 people

Situated adjoining the commercial kitchen, the Cafe Space is set up for hosting casual events, with enough room for tables if required. With a wall mounted television, the Cafe Space can be used for casual events requiring food and drink or as overflow from the auditorium.

Rosny Room – $50 per hour*, 52 sqm, 25 people

The Rosny Room is a flexible space which can be set up for lecture style seating, a room for tables or an empty space. The Rosny Room has direct access to the Meehan Auditorium, which makes a great Green Room for your performance. (Weekend hire only)

Cambridge Room – $50 per hour*, 55 sqm, 20 people

With plenty of natural light and hard flooring, the Cambridge Room has been set up with children’s work or arts and crafts in mind. The room includes a kitchenette with sink, bar fridge and microwave, and an infant toilet.

Montagu Room – $25 per hour*, 22 sqm, 12 people

The Montagu Room is perfect for those needing a more intimate space to stop and reflect or engage in quiet conversation. It is best suited for one-on-one gatherings or small groups. The Montague Room comes equipped with a 75″ smart tv.

Lounge and Board Room – $25 per hour*, 88 sqm, 20 people, and 30 sqm, 12 people respectively.

Set up for video and face to face conferencing, our Board Room is perfect for team meetings. It comes equipped with a boardroom table to seat 8 with room for more chairs around the room. It also includes a 55″ smart tv, speakers and webcam. The adjoining loungeroom is a nice place for more informal get togethers for smaller groups, complete with comfortable lounges.

Setup and packup time will be charged at a discounted hourly rate of 50% of room hire.

# Advanced Sound includes the use of up to 3 radio microphones, 3 mic stands, 6 corded microphones and the ability to plug in up to 8 instruments. If musicians require foldback, you will need to bring in your own foldback system. If you require a sound technician, please mention that in your enquiry form.
