Located a short 10 minutes from the Hobart CBD, situated in the foothills of kunanyi/Mt Wellington, our Lenah Valley venue is perfect for your small conference or meeting. The Lenah Valley venue is comprised of three rooms: The Auditorium, The Chapel, and the front Meeting Room. The venue has a small kitchen and can be hired as a whole building, or on a room-by-room basis.

Auditorium hire – $100 per hour*, 155 sqm, 100 people seated

The Auditorium has a nice homey feel, which makes for a comfortable place to have your meeting or conference. With a full Audio Visual set up, it is a great place to hold your presentation.
Situated at the front of the room is a large stage and has a wall mounted TV on the wall behind. With the extra option of connecting instruments or laptop, the Lenah Valley Auditorium can be used for many events.
It also has direct access via a serving window to the small kitchenette, which is included in your hire.

Included in the hire:

  • Seating for up to 100 people
  • Up to 5 rectangle trellis tables and/or 5 small round tables
  • Kitchenette

Optional additions to your hire:

  • Advanced Sound^ – $30 p/hr
  • Technician to run your Audio/Visual set up – $50 p/hr, minimum 2 hours
  • Projector Hire – $30 p/hr

The Chapel – $50 per hour*, 45 sqm, 50 people seated

At the back of the building, you will find a hidden treasure of a room. The Chapel is the original church building built in 1960. It has a beautiful brick parabola shaped wall at the front, designed by architect Dirk Bolt. The Chapel has room to seat 50 people, and is perfect for a small ceremony, or for use as a get together space boasting plenty of natural light.
Hire includes the use of a wall mounted TV.

The Chapel, 1950’s

Meeting Room – $25 per hour*, 12 people seated

Situated in the front of the building is the Meeting Room. With a central table that seats 12 comfortably, it is a great room for board meetings, staff meetings, or just a needed space to have a conversation with a small group of people. The Meeting Room also has a window facing directly into the Auditorium.
Hire includes the use of a wall mounted TV.

The Chapel and Meeting Room are included in the Auditorium Hire. These can also be hired individually, with a minimum hire of 2 hours.

Setup and pack up time will be charged at a discounted hourly rate of 50% of room hire.

^Advanced Sound includes the use of up to 2 radio microphones, 3 cord mics, 3 mic stands, and the ability to plug in up to 8 instruments.
